These be my WIPs of the Jolie Portrait Series II. Had quite a tough time scannig them and drawing to scan requires a definate discipline, which to me is an art in itself.

This WIP is dedicated to ~LucaTedde for whom WIPs are not scraps, but work of arts... i must say i comply with him. These scraps are art, higher then the original works, its a pity that there is no specific catagory for them.

Haha, yes, <3 WIPs...great way to study other people's techniques....I sure as hell learned a few new things...Excellent work...I'm sure it took a lot of effort to do all those extra steps...I usually don't have a specific order that I do things in..anyhoot, goodwork.

it's awesome!! i just love WIPs :D

i was just wondering... have you done it all in the same sheet? because on the first sketches there are a lot of lines traced that then disappear, have you erased them as you were going through the draw? that's hard work! :D

your art is great and improved a lot since I saw your first gallery addicition. You really succeed in creating very smooth and fine shadows that make your art very realistic and really outstanding. I don't know any people who use their pencils like you ;-)
Although you hav finished your Jolie pic I want to give you some criticism. First you could darken this little highlight on the left of her nose. It really pops out of the whole pic and draws the attention just a little bit to much. Second thing I recognized was her mouth that coul be rotated clockwise again just a little bit.
Anyway, best pic for me in your gallery, keep on!!!
