Artist's Comments

The most recent. That’s robert stack as eliot ness in -the scarface mob-. On the latest there had been some mafia movies and documentaries that i saw and not to forget the game by illusion software: MAFIA, which I had just finished.

After drawing jennifer lopez and some other portraits (not published yet), skepticism arose that maybe these hands are just good at faces and hair. Thus a full figure was tried and the result is right here. The face is not important here but everything else is: drapes behind, the floor, carpets, the door and of course the tuxedo.

Dedicated to the lord of scraps ~Xero-Tau :iconxero-tau:who is real good at what he draws with his pencil in his sketch book. His sketches are that of dudes that we see in everyday life around us and some are straight out of fantasy game worlds.

Afterthought: imperezzo, omerta, bon apetit, crème de la crème, the death of art

Very cool! Unusual subject and pose, and the attention to detail is really impressive, particularly the curtains and rug.

great drawing.. if I can be bit critical.. U could play bit more with details.. but it's ok.Just something on shading didn't fit to me here.. I looked on it and saw it.. You have shades like you have background one thing, than some transparent layer with shades of figure and than figure. It's best seen on shade of leg, which stands on ground.. shade should be curved by ground... And not just after person, because there's bend, where ground becomes to wall and shade should be curved and more on ground I think.. U know what I mean?
I hope this will help... and don't bother much...

There is nothing I can do. You chose your own path, and it has its own consequences

it took me quite some to finish it. one whole day perhaps. i worked on the surroundings knowingly for the obvious reason that i was getting paranoid that maybe im just good at faces and.....hair.
